Now’s the Time
Word Pirates:
To those of you who have finished pieces, or close to finished pieces– and I know a lot of you do because we just had a critique — you should be happy, because it is now September.
Why should September make you happy? Is it because leaves turn pretty this month and it’s not so freaking hot all the time? NO! It is because most literary journals begin accepting submissions in September.
Buy some stamps. I like the superhero ones.
