Should we go monthly?
Dear Word Pirates,
This is a reminder that we’re having a meeting on June 1. No one has yet to tell me they can’t make it, so please let me know if this is the case.
At this meeting, we are going to discuss whether it would be better to make WP a monthly thing. The question I would like you to consider is:
a. is a bi-weekly meeting too much of a commitment for you and
b. if so, which Thursday of the month (first, second, third, forth) works best for you.
Marcia and I realize that people are busy and that the beginning of summer is a bad time to start a group. As such, we certainly don’t blame you if you have to miss meetings. However, we’re taking the heavy attendance/light attendance/heavy attendance/light attendance pattern of the meetings as a sign that WP may work better if we are monthly. We would really like your feedback on this.
Our prompt this time is going to be fun. Remember to bring a paper and a pen.
