Hi Word Pirates! We have officially launched our website. What do you think?

If you look to your left, you will notice we have a calendar with all the dates of the meetings flagged. Click on the date and you can see the details. (The meetings are all going to be at my house at 7:30 p.m., just like last time).

At our very first meeting on April 6th, we had an exercise where we found a random sentence in a book and wrote on it for 15 minutes. For April 20th, please edit what you wrote and bring it in. We are going to read it aloud. If you weren’t there for the first meeting OR you already read aloud, bring something else in to read.

Keep checking back here, since Marcia, Leona, and I are going to start posting writing opportunities and other things to keep you inspired.

For example, check out Page on the Stage in Santa Rosa. This theater group acts out short stories written by local authors. It looks easy to submit a story by their online form.

If one of you got a short story produced on the stage, I would totally go.
